Meet Your Director, Jason Wright
With years of experience directing school theater and leading worship at the local level, Jason Wright understands what it takes to coax a real performance out of a nervous student or an unsure worship team.
As a theater director at Piedmont High School, Jason works daily with young performers — guiding them through the process of building characters, owning the stage, and finding their voice in front of an audience.
Beyond the stage, Jason serves as a worship and music director at his local church, where he brings the same intentional coaching approach to worship teams and choirs — helping musicians and singers move from technique into authentic, congregation-leading worship.
Based in Piedmont, Alabama, Jason brings a practical, encouraging approach to every coaching engagement — focused on growth, not just technique.
The Approach
Performance Shouldn't Feel Like a Performance
The best theater and the best worship share something in common: authenticity. When a performer or worship leader is fully present in the moment — not performing for the audience but speaking from something real — that's when the audience is moved.
Jason's coaching is built around that principle. The goal isn't perfect technique. It's helping every student, actor, and worship leader find the authentic expression that was already inside them.
